I've got one person's name for you: VENA.  

I've had Vena as my colorist for about... 7-8 years, I believe. She has never ONCE gotten my color wrong, even when I've asked for some crazy sh*t. My favorite was when we decided to shave the side of my head and put lines in it, this was before the Rihanna craze. That was fun.

I've referred many people to her, men and women. She does awesome guy cuts-- great angles. For women, she is the best colorist, hands down. Not to mention, her price is very reasonable for what she does. 

She will always discuss what you want done beforehand, so she can plan accordingly. She listens and always gives you helpful input based on your style, level of maintenance, and cost. This seems so simple, but many colorists seem to just do whatever the hell they want with your hair without consulting the client. 

Many asian girls are always scared of coloring their hair, b/c they've been traumatized by FOB / brassy hair color. Well, no need to be! With an amazing colorist, any color is possible, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. 

I've had SO many girls ask me where I got my hair colored, and I owe it all to Vena!

 the real reason that I drove all the way to Riverside from San Dimas for a cut and bangs was VENA! I love that girl. No one. Not one single stylist I visited, before or after Vena moved too far away away from me, has been able to come close to the color and bang style.

I even showed other stylists pictures of what Vena had done for me-- no success. EPIC, EPIC FAIL. I just don't get it, but I definitely get baby V! And she gets me-- and every other person who I have seen get out of her stylist chair.

She is known as one of the most exclusive hair stylist in the so.cal area. A true artist who creates a look unique as her clients. 

I drive from West LA to Riverside to get my hair done there by her and she is absolutely amazing. I will follow and fly out of my way to be seen by her, that's how amazing she is. 

Her color treatments are wonderful my hair has never looked so fabulous. I walked in with hair shoulder length and within a year its long and strong. 

I would reserve sometime to really experience the power of having a personal stylist such as Vena she will help you style and maintain your look properly. 

I'm always out and people always compliment me on my hair, I let them know its truly the work of my personal and professional hair artist/stylist Vena. 

I would give her a call she has a bunch of photos of her clients online and she is great if you need something catering to both a professional and party lifestyle.

I have been going to Vena for a few years now and not only is she a very creative and talented hairstylist, but she is also an artist that sees beyond a haircut or hair style. Her artistry has captivated me. I have very curly hair and I have never had my hair cut the way that I wanted until she cut it. She even went as far as to shave lines on the side of my head which looked awesome. I trust Vena with my hair and will never go to anyone else but her. My own rueful times spent in the chairs of less skilled hairstylists left me frustrated, enough so to simply not cut my hair for approximately five years.  However, when the time came to finally tame my furrowed locks, I listened to the recommendations of a close associate and contacted Miss Vena, and I am very glad I did.

Vena is just the right combination of artist, bartender, extracurricular psychologist and soothsayer to make one's hairstyling experience a work of art, from start to finish (the end product, of course, being a fantastic haircut.)  Her keen eye, listening ear, and sharp senses serve the client's wishes while still building on the initial idea, to create something wholly unique and fitting to the individual.

my hairdresser is Vena.  she's awesome!  very friendly but most of all she KNOWS hair!!  she does hair for models and professional photoshoots so of course she has to be fabulous. she's a busy woman so make sure you book in advance.  I got a cut and color for 160$.  not cheap, but not the most expensive.  she's worth the $$!

Vena!!! What an incredibly talented woman. This hair master did my hair for a photo shoot and transformed it into 6 different styles. She made my hair go from: messy/blown out- pin up- dita von teese- 60s house wife in curlers- curled & hippy chic- to side part with one eye covered and the other side slicked down. Which I've been trying to train my hair to do; and can never accomplish that look. 

I would travel far distances to have her style my hair for any event. She truly has a gift and a vision for hair. Trust me when I say this, you'll leave in the best mood after spending the afternoon with her.

Where do I begin with Vena? She truly lives up to the hype.
If you follow my reviews (I'm sure you check them every morning) you will know that I am faithful to only one hair stylist. No matter what salon she moves to, I follow.

What I love about Vena is that she has her own sense of style, but will always know how to make it "you." She's knowledgeable about all types of hair and knows the best way to grow out your locks so that they're long and luscious.

I can't stress enough how much I love Vena.  I've followed her to three different salons, no matter how far they are away from me, because, well... she's the best.  I started going to Vena when my hair was to my chin - short! She taught me how to care for my hair & how to keep it healthy so that it would grow.  She is constantly doing her research, always one step ahead of the game.  I have never once had a bad cut from Vena -- she knows what she's doing! She is a hair genius & is awesome with colors.  My recent hair is a "white girl" hair style -- light on the ends with random highlights. Beautiful. 

I always leave Vena's chair feeling like my hairstyle is one of a kind & was created specifically for me.

 Vena did my hair, and she did an asymmetrical bob with purple, teal and gray color on the left side of my hair. She is VERY talented, takes her time and makes sure you look nothing short of fabulous. The cost is reasonable because you will definitely get what you pay for, quality work. I recommend Vena to anyone.

Vena Elizondo is a total diamond in the ruff,  no one would expect to find a talented stylist that can tackle from your ordinary woman and man to your next celebrity , artist , all around out of the box person...i can voutch for her since ive seen her cut the hair of many talented folks for the last ten years.....you want to have your hair feeling like it just got taken care of by the best in a hollywood way come trough to the IE youll never expect to find the next big thing, and thats the best part.

I LOOOOOVE my stylist Vena!! She knows so much about color and styles that fit you personally, not just what is the trend. She is always recommending something new but never pressuring me into changing anything. I love that she is always going to hair shows and seminars to keep up with the new things and keeping herself educated with new products and color. She is AMAZING with color and cuts!!! I have been with her for 7 years now and she is AMAZINGGGGGG!!!! I cant brag about her enough. I have referred my entire family and alot of my friends to go to her, they all love her as well!!!!!

i've known vena for at least 4 years now but wasn't able to see her often cuz i was stranded on the east coast. SO grateful to be back in the LA area, namely because i finally have an awesome colorist again!

vena's amazing with color, doesn't do anything janky-style, and has a great eye for what looks good on you. better yet, she definitely knows how to handle minority hair (i'm asian) so color doesnt turn out brassy and cheap looking. i got ombre hair color done, which is super hard to execute on asian hair cuz of our natural color. also, my hair was super porous from previous attempts at dying it. plus, she's always ahead of her time with what cool new hair color is in next. she was doing ombre on my friends YEARS befroe everyone else jumped on board. 

the salon itself is super cool too, small and intimate. definitely come here and to vena if you want anything from basic coloring to whatever is the coolest new thing :)

Vena is the best!

i have been looking for the perfect hairstylist for quite some time now - a fashionable, talented individual with just enough edge.  Someone who was, essentially, an all around a great hair dresser.  i came into the salon with an orangey/brassy blondish (note that i am asian) asymmetrical bob-like thing..whatever it was.  it was too heavy in some parts and the color was completely off.  i looked like Syndrome from the Incredibles(..kind of haha). Vena color corrected my hair into a beautiful ash-blonde and balanced out the heaviness in my hair.  i was more than satisfied.  

Vena was very professional, yet easy to talk to. she really listens to what you want and puts her all into each cut.  her passion for hair dressing really shows.  she's especially experienced with ethnic hair - asian hair. and is really good with asian blondes, which is difficult to find. 

for anyone who's looking for a quality cut, Vena is the girl to go to. you won't be disappointed.

 I had my hair done by Vena, a super talented hair whisperer, she's so in-tune with my hair she need only speak the words and my hair is sculpted like an art-form, at least that's how I feel afterwards. I got the greatest compliment today in regards to my hair, a gentleman said he loves my cut and it's the cutest hair style he has ever seen!
